Lilou, a new stage for a home with character in Sant Cugat del Vallès
An integral reform project designed to adapt the space to a new family stage, with a kitchen and bathroom designed to be practical, welcoming and with a lot of personality.
Kitchen
The starting point for this project was clear: the children have left home, and the couple wanted to adapt the kitchen to their new daily routine. They were looking for a more functional kitchen, with plenty of work and storage space, but also with a comfortable eating and living area.
We designed a kitchen with a lot of character, moving away from standard solutions and thinking about the real use of space. On one side, a large work area with plenty of storage space, and on the other, a comfortable table for two people – which can also seat four when the children return for a visit. A practical and warm alternative to traditional kitchen counters.
The materials and finishes were key to give personality to the space: furniture with marked finishes, combined with neutral tones and warm lighting that invites you to linger.
Bathroom
In the bathroom we opted for a total transformation. Light and personality were a priority, so we chose colourful tiles to create a lively and cheerful atmosphere, moving away from the usual neutrality.
The new layout includes a spacious and comfortable shower, good lighting that enhances the space and niches designed to keep everything you need close at hand. The wall-hung toilet and the selected finishes provide a clean, modern and coherent image in keeping with the renewed spirit of the entire refurbishment.
A project designed to be enjoyed today, and also tomorrow.
